The Southern Alexandrina Business Association Inc. (SABA) was established in 2000 to support the activities of businesses in Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island and Currency Creek.
SABA aims to promote and develop business and commerce in this region. SABA members are encouraged to foster civic pride, develop networks and promote consultation, cooperation and coordination amongst their businesses. SABA advocates the use and patronage of local produce and helps to raise awareness of issues that affect local operators

SABA initiated the successful introduction of CITTASLOW (Slow Towns) for Goolwa and continues to look for opportunities to provide businesses with new development and promotional possibilities.

SABA has strongly supported the Goolwa Needs Water Now campaign.

SABA is working with the Alexandrina Council to help develop the Goolwa Trade Park.

SABA actively supports the annual GOOLWA ALIVE STREET MARKET held on the Sunday of the Labour Day Weekend (usually at the beginning of October) and AROUND GOOLWA with History Week at the end of May.
